Marcie R. Rendon transports readers to Minnesota in this mystery. Quill is marathon training in the woods of the Red Pine reservation when she hears a scream. As other women begin to go missing, Quill starts to investigate and begins with the group of men working on the construction of a pipeline. Even as her hunt for answers leads her into danger, Quill is determined to fight for the women in her community.

Rumor Has It by Cat Rambo

The Disco Space Opera series continues with a third installment, which follows the crew of You Sexy Thing on another dangerous and action-packed adventure. This time the group is venturing to the gardens on Coralind Station. They’re in desperate need of recovery time after the events of the last book, and they’ve vowed to find a way to hunt down pirate king Tubal Last and take him down once and for all.

A Jingle Bell Mingle by Julie Murphy and Sierra Simone

Romance authors Julie Murphy and Sierra Simone return to the fictional town of Christmas Notch, Vermont for the third installment in their holiday romcom series. After a one-night stand, adult film star and makeup artist Sunny Palmer and former boy band member Isaac Kelly strike a deal to help each other overcome their writer’s block. Isaac needs to put out new music, and Sunny has to wrap up her screenplay for the Hope Channel.

Old Wounds by Logan-Ashley Kisner

Two exes on a road trip to California get stranded in a deadly small town in this YA thriller. Transgender teens Max and Erin are still navigating what it means to be friendly after breaking up two years ago. Any awkwardness they feel takes a backseat when they end up stranded in a Kentucky town. Soon they’re on the run from the locals, who believe that sacrificing young girls to a monster in the woods will protect them from floods.
